Salvia nemorosa 'Caradonna' is an incredible, multi award winning perennial that holds the prestigious RHS Award of Garden Merit. It is highly celebrated in the horticultural world as one of the most structural and intensely colored salvias available. The plant forms a dense, neat mound of aromatic green foliage, out of which uniquely rigid, near black violet stems shoot straight upward. These dark stems carry tight spikes of small, deep violet blue hooded flowers, adding dramatic vertical architecture to sunny borders, gravel beds, or cottage layouts.
