Agastache 'Globetrotter' commonly known as giant hyssop is an upright, clump-forming perennial bred by Dutch plantsman Brian Kabbes and introduced in 2010. Reaching 75 to 100 cm tall, it features mint-scented foliage and dense spikes of lilac-pink flowers with reddish-purple bracts. Ovate to lance-shaped, aromatic mid-green leaves with a distinct peppermint or mint scent. Highly attractive to pollinators, including bees, butterflies and hoverflies, theseed heads are later favored by goldfinches. Withstands strong drought resistance once established and resists browsing by deer and rabbits, Excellent for borders, cottage gardens, Mediterranean schemes, container planting, and as a cut flower for bouquets
