Lamium Red Nancy

Lamium maculatum 'Red Nancy' commonly known as Spotted Dead Nettle is a superb, high performance perennial ground cover celebrated for bringing intense, luminous color into difficult, shaded garden spaces.It forms a dense, low growing carpet of heart shaped leaves that are almost entirely shimmering metallicsilver, framed by a narrow dark green margin. In late spring and throughout the summer, this icy silver canvas is topped with clusters of hooded, deep rose purple to reddish pink tubular flowers. It is an exceptional, low maintenance choice for suppressing weeds, lighting up dark woodland paths, or spilling elegantly over the sides of shaded patio containers.
