Tulipa Golden Apeldoorn 10 Bulbs

A magnificent tall tulip that bears massive, classically sculpted, egg-shaped blooms of intense, luminous golden-yellow. When the flowers unfurl on warm days, they reveal a dramatic, jet-black star-shaped base in the centre. Its thick, sturdy stems make it perfect at standing up to stron spring winds. Thrives in full sun but handles a tiny bit of partial shade. It prefers a sheltered or south/west-facing position. Thanks to its height, it is exceptional for middle to back border placement, mass landscaping drifts, or as a long lasting premium cut flower. Requires rich, fertile, and sharply well-drained soil.
