It's hard to beat Tulips in spring time but this selection of double flowering tulips are just stunning, producing large, peony-like blooms in a vibrant mix of pink, red, purple, orange and white shades. The double heads are held on strong stems although I would advise a sheltered spot away from strong winds as the double heads can get heavy, they make beautiful cut flowers. Plant from September to December and enjoy the following April and May.
