Hydrangea paniculata Bobo

Hydrangea paniculata Bobo is an award-winning Dwarf panicle Hydrangea, perfect for small gardens and patio containers.

It bursts into life in midsummer with huge, upright, cone-shaped panicles of creamy-white blooms that completely engulf the foliage. As autumn approaches and temperatures cool, the prolific blooms age gracefully into rich pink and mauve tones. Thrives best in full sun to partial shade, particularly afternoon shade to prevent the flowers from scorching. Unlike traditional bigger leaf hydrangeas, soil pH does not change the flower color of 'Bobo'. It adapts well to most standard garden soils as long as they do not stay soggy. Hydrangea are notoriously thirsty plants especially when they are in flower so be prepared to water well in summer particularily in the first year of planting.
