Verbena 'Lollipop' is a very popular high-performance perennial hybrid. It is a more compact, dwarf selection of the wildly popular tall Verbena bonariensis. It forms a tighter mound of rough green leaves out of which a profusion of rigid, branching square stems shoot upward to bear tight clusters of lavender-purple blossoms. It introduces a soft, see through texture, a remarkably long bloom window, and dramatic architectural form to the middle of sunny borders, cottage beds, gravel layouts, or patio container gardens.
