Armeria maritime Dusseldorf Pride

Long lasting deep pink globular blooms held over grassy foliage from early spring into summer. This evergreen hardy plant produces small, vibrant, neon-pink to deep wine-red flowers, the tiny blossoms bunch together into spherical, pom-pom-shaped flower heads. They sit at the top of stiff, leafless, wiry stems that rise neatly above the foliage. It forms low, tight, cushion-like mounds of narrow, needle-like green leaves. The dense tufts look remarkably like a small patch of manicured grass or moss. Often grown along the coast hence the name cammon name 'Sea Thrift'

Ideal for the front of a border or rockery, tough, hardy and very easy to grow.
