Mexican Feather Grass or Ponytail Grass, is a wonderful clump forming perennial ornamental grass, it is spectacularly graceful and is renowned among garden designers and landscapers for it's exceptionally fine, hair like foliage as the name suggests like a pony's tail! 

It's soft fluid movement makes it deal for modern, prairie-style, cottage or coastal gardens, this highly versatile plant creates a soft, tranquil atmosphere by swaying gently in the lightest breeze. It is one of our best selling grasses here at Ahern Nurseries simply by how versatile it is, we use it in garden designs where it works well with other airy plants such as Verbena 'Lollipop', Nepeta 'Six Hills Giant' and of course Gaura! It also works brilliantly in pots where it gives a softeness and to mixed planting as the foliage sways gently catching rays of sunlight to perfection.
