Bruff Tidy Towns Envirofest

Bruff Tidy Towns is organising a full day of family activities and events that will help people to learn more about and also ensure they understand and care about the local and natural environment.


This will take place at the Kirby O Sullivan Centre (formerly FCJ Convent), Bruff, Co. Limerick on Sunday15th January from 2 – 6 pm. The programme of events will include:


Albert Nolan – Freelance writer and wildlife enthusiast with the Limerick Leader and Vale Star
Donal O Leary – Stop Food Waste and Master Composter Ireland
Veronica Santorum – Limerick’s Buzzing Project. Exhibition with interactive features for young and young at heart.
Children’s Activities – Tree Walk, Paint and Plant, Scavenger Hunt, Outdoor Living Workshop, Leave No Trace. These will be facilitated by other very knowledgeable in the care of the environment and wild life and will have a fun element.

This Envirofest will be of interest to Tidy Town and other community groups, schools and individuals who would like to learn more about wild life and other aspects of the environment with plenty of practical tips, advice and opportunity for questions.
